The PVC that I have from my well into the pump is connected to the pump via PVC. Every couple of months the threads slip out by one thread and the well loses pressure. I’ve tried using Teflon tape or joint compound. This has happened about 10 times in the last few years and it’s very frustrating. Do I have a bad thread in the well? Am I doing something else wrong? Please help

Something is totally abnormal. How about a photo of the area where things go bad.
Is this pump down the well (submersible), or up top (jet pump)?

I would consider using SIDR poly pipe with brass or stainless barbed (insert) adapters.
