Sorry if this has been addressed...
A contractor wants to install a T into my existing NG 3/4" line at the meter in order to feed my new standby generator. Since his estimate the gas Co installed a new meter for the house. This meter is fed from the underground supply and through the regulator. Theres an outlet that feeds the house and apparently another outlet that is capped with a 3/4" plug with a 1/2" reducer capped into it. Cant I create the 2nd line from that access without disturbing the exisisting line?
Thanks for you time.
