Sprinkler blowout using test cocks

I want to blowout my sprinkler system using air compressor but was wondering if I should use the test cocks or the hose outlet.

I'm leaning towards using test cock #2 - which means I'll need to remove it and need a nipple and coupler to attach a air hose.

Is this a good idea? If not, what would you recommend?

Test cocks are 1/8" npt small port. To small for any amount volume of air to blow out trapped water.

I'll replace it with a standard air hose fitting using the nipple & coupler as shown in my post.

If not, then what's the alternative?
