I just replaced a 11y/o Kenmore 350 softner that was producing low water pressure due to bad resin. I just bought a similar Kenmore model and installed it on Tuesday. I immediately noticed my water pressure back to normal but the water doesn't have that slippery feel to it. I did a water test and the hardness is 0-2. I also ran the hot and cold water for 30 minutes. It's day 2 and still don't have that slippery feel. Is it possible to have soft water without the feel or should I just be patient and wait? I had it with my old softener.
Any help or knowledge is appreciated
