I Have an AirQuest model 867.740390 floor furnace which is 14 years old. The burner cuts on, blower fan cuts in about 45 seconds later and both cycle. The fan runs for about 2 minutes after burner cuts off and when fan cycles off I get a strong odor of fuel oil which last for about two minutes. I detect the odor only after the fan cycles off. The fan will cycle back on a short while after the initial cut off and runs for various length of time ie. 45-90 seconds.
The heat exchanger has been checked for leaks - none found. The draft regulator is working properly.The stack draft reads .028. ANY suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
