I am installing a pedestal sink and would like to have the vent a little bit further away than standard.
I know sink drains usually use a 1.5" drain which has a maximum distance to vent of approx 3.5ft.
Can I use a 2" drain pipe to get a longer maximum distance to vent. I think the typical maximum distance to vent with 2" pipe is approx 5ft.
What are your thoughts?
