I’m in the middle of replacing rusted out 300 gallon tank with 1000 gallon norwesco low profile tank that meets code. Because of the size of new tank and slope of property I had to set tank inlet about 12” below where it entered old tank. I know you want to have 1/4” per foot slope from house to tank but I was wondering if I could I could install 22-1/2 degree fitting 3-4’ from tank and then slope line at 45 degrees before it enters tank? Would that meet code? Other wise I would have to excavate the whole 25’ of line and lower it where it leaves the house.

Thanks
