My landlord had a studio with a bathroom, kitchen and laundry room and another bathroom added to an already existing septic tank. To do that he needed to have a septic pump installed since the basement was never connected to the septic system. I have been smelling septic since this work started. It’s been completed for months and I’m still smelling the septic. Sometimes it’s so overwhelming. Other times it’s just a hint of stale pee and/or poo. To say the least, it’s disgusting but it’s also causing health problems. I wake up with the most severe migraines I’ve ever had. When I’m gone I feel better but as soon as I walk through the door I am feeling awful all over. Whenever I sleep away I don’t wake up with the severe debilitating migraines. Once I sleep in my apartment it’s back full force. my health seems to be declining quickly. At first the septic pump was shorting out because it wasn’t wired properly. That’s when the smells were the worse. It still gets bad but I notice it more when the neighbor in the basement is home.
Here is my question.
Can you vent a septic pump with a Studor mini vent? I thought it needed to be vented to the outside air.

I am providing pictures as a reference.
Please help. This has been going on since late June or early July.
Thank you.

No. That is bad.

The problem is that as drainage tries to enter, that drainage could encounter pressure.

In practice the pressure might be relieved through a form of wet venting, codes don't support that.
