Septic pump horsepower

Hi everyone! I just need some guidance. A friend had an issue with there lagoon in the middle of winter. Long story short a septic tank was added to there system. So now everything is pumped to the tank. The lagoon is about 500ft from the tank, the line to the lagoon has been fixed. How big of a sewage pump would be needed to to pump the liquids from the tank to the lagoon. The tank is pretty much level with the lagoon so there is no incline and its only a 2 inch pipe. Its a 2 stage tank so the solids would get pumped out every couple years . I just want to be sure we get a big enough one.

Even at 50 GPM your 2" pipe will only have 1.74 PSI loss per 100'. So 600' would be 10.44 PSI. You need a pump that can lift 24' or deliver 10 PSI.
