Rewire thermostat

My thermostat is cirrent wired to a proprietary Ruud comm system. I want to rewire so I can use a standard thermostat. Need help with which wires to run.

See the pic. Current thermostat wires are st the bottom of the circuit board (R,C,1,2), I want to use the posts at the top of the board (W,Y,C,G,R).

What do the 1 and 2 terminals do now?

What functions does the unit have? Heat only, heat or a/c, separate fan control? Multiple stages?

This should be covered in the owner's manual.
