My question is about well cycling while watering the garden. I checked and it cycles on for 50 seconds then off for about 40 while I'm currently watering with a bunch of drip hoses. That takes an hour to water. Should I try to use more watering devices to prevent the tank from filling up and cycling so much?

Yes. You should also use a bigger pressure tank to give more run-time for your non-garden purposes.

You can either double or triple the drip lines to keep the pump running, double or triple the size of the pressure tank to reduce the cycling, or use a Cycle Stop Valve that was made to let you use drip lines or sprinklers anyway you want.
