I am hoping someone here can answer me. Rusty cast iron 4" stack in photo is no longer being used because plumber installed 3" pvc and horizontal wet vents for two bathrooms, these vented by two 1 1/2" pvc vents on roof. I want to remove what's left of that stack and install a Broan Nutone vent cap in its place along with an attic-mounted inline vent fan to vent two bathrooms.

My question is, judging by proximity of pipes in photo, would the vent cap be too close to the plumbing intake vents?

Thanks for any replies!

Three feet from an opening like a window to a vent pipe. Ten feet if the roof cap is feeding air for a furnace.
