Plumbing design for multiple shower heads

I saw a schematic a while ago to have 3-4 heads with valves to control them

Can't find it again,

any ideas

It depends on how you want them to be selected...i.e., all on, or some set or subset in various combinations. Then, the supply lines and valve need to be large enough so that the pressure and volume are sufficient, or the outlets can become pretty meager. You can do this with either shutoffs or diverter valves, depending on the supply valve you are using.
