Placement of shower frame

Keeping costs down, removed metal glass shower frame to paint and add new seals. Replaced the worn out marble top sills and threshold.

What is best placement of metal shower frame, centered on threshold?, more to outside or inside

I don't know the normal, but given a choice, I would consider the slope on the ledge. If the slope is flat or worse, I would opt for an more inside spot. If well sloped down to the shower, I might opt for a more outside location to give a little extra elbow room.

Slope on ledge is almost flat, slight inward slope while the threshold slopes in 1/8", so looks like "in" is better, thanks for the insight
