Can anyone speak to the noise level with a pex manifold? I am considering mounting it on the wall of the mechanical room that has a bedroom on the other side but considered the noise would be a disturbance. Supposedly pex is quieter than copper counterparts.

I can certainly add some insulation between the rooms but there is only so much that can be done. Also need to consider if moving to a plastic manifold like apollo/manibloc would be notiicable quieter than a copper manifold like Souix Chief.

Pex is quieter than copper. Id just insulate the pipes and keep the manifold off the wall board with felt at most
