Hello, I have question about PEX manifold systems. The ones I have seen have individual shut off valves going to each fixture. Is this necessary if you have a shut off at the fixture? Could you possibly have one shut off on the 3/4 line feeding the manifold instead? Thanks

Sure you can, but individual shut off valves will give you the freedom to work on a line while not cutting the water to the entire house.

The angle stops at the fixtures are usually dependable, but what if they fail? and they do fail sometimes. An individual shut off will come handy then.

Hey, wait a minute.

This is awkward, but...
