I'd like to use the Apollo 3/4" x 3/4" x 3/4" slip tee to tie into the distribution line for my new fixture in the garage. The existing line is copper and I want the tie in to be PEX. Is this permissible? I was a little confused because the product specs state the slip tee is for use with copper and CPVC. But I suppose this means the slip-tee part must be copper or CPVC and that the third joint can be PEX. Is that correct? I don't want to fail Inspection; it would be easy enough to use a 3/4" copper on the third joint and then use another push-to-connect to go from copper to PEX later on down the line if necessary. Thanks in advance. Rosann.
