New Indirect Water Tank

Hello. I currently have a 40 gal indirect heat-flo tank that is 13 years old. We recently completed a bathroom remodel.and have noticed the new shower does not maintain hot water very long. Can someone recommend a good indirect tank? My home is pretty small at approx 1100 sq ft and it is just my wife and I.

Ever flush the tank? Check the boiler temp and tank temp?
