We are contemplating remodeling our kitchen, and would like to relocate the kitchen sink about 2 ft. It is currently located just prior to an outside corner and we would like to place it in the middle of the corner. A neighbor with a floorplan similar to ours did this, and just extended the water lines and drain from where they exited the wall (at the prior sink location), undercounter, to the new location, about 2-3 ft. Is this acceptable? I'd hate to go into the wall, just to move the water and drain lines 2-3 ft.

Thanks. I thought it should be, mainly because the neighbor that did it this, generally does everything to code (even if it costs him a fortune to do so). Just wanted to hear someone else agree.
