Metric thread!!!!

Hello. Not sure if this is the right place for this. I have this pump that i purchased online. It is definitely not npt. It is 3/4" sized. British standard pipe thread? Anyway. I need to figure out how to get this thing adapted to us thread. Put a bunch of thread tape on it and was able to get a garden hose thread on it. It's leaking though.

Anyone have any luck with doping mismatched threads to Work under standard water pressures? This will be permanent

What is the actual measured size? 1/2 " NPT is bigger than 3/4 inch.

Male or female thread?

How many threads per inch?

It sounds to me like it is a utility pump intended to be connected to a garden hose.

Garden hose threads are 11.5 threads per inch. Garden hose connections often leak.

A better washer often helps.
