messed up pressure switch ?

I ran into issue switch set at 30/50 tank set at 28psi. When water is turned on runs to 30 psi turns on pump runs about 30 seconds and drops to 20psi and waterstops running, but will pick up pressure sometimes and sometimes looses prime

What type of pump?
You have a leak or a bad check valve/foot because you're losing prime. It drops to 20 because of little or no water, then builds up as it self primes.

It is a 1hp shallow well pump the switch is on the pump. I have a check valve between the well and the pump. I lowered the Blatter tank pressure by 2 pounds it seams to work better.
