Does anyone know where I can purchase online the tank tee in this pic? If you have a link or contact information that would be great. I couldn't find them at any of the hardware or plumbing supply houses in my area. The tank tee is screwed onto the cold water inlet of the water heater with a vacuum relief valve screwed onto the top female end of the tank tee. Also another question to anyone that knows, do you think a watts vacuum relief valve (shown in the pic) is great to have in a gas water heater? here are the links to the pic of the tank tee:

The vacuum relief is useful when the water heater is on an upper floor. If the water heater is on the bottom floor, it doesn't seem to be needed in my opinion, unless there is some local law. I am not a pro.

Those devices are not common, and you rarely hear of a home water heater getting compressed by a vacuum.

How about reusing the existing tee, adapt a more easily-available tee with a reducer, or switch from a 1/2 vacuum relief to a 3/4?

That setup seems usually low profile.
