Leaking PVC joint

I have a PVC drain line with a leak at the joint. I'd rather not cut it all out and replace.

Any way to salvage this?

It looks like there is a lateral crack above the joint.
There are epoxies for plastic which could be a semi-if-lucky-fix.

It may be that there are stresses on the assembly that will cause a future failure. But, cheap enough to try.

Ah, I now see...didn't catch that crack before. Sure, I may just cover it with some epoxy. How about using some of that silicone self adhering tape?

I like that silicone self-adhering tape, but I would cover that with something like electrical tape, which also comes in white. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Scotch-...yl-Electrical-Tape-Black-6132-BA-10/304653556

It can provide better compression force over your expensive silicone tape.

The wrap-around tape is easy to try too, but critically, needs access to pull tightly through each wrap.
