So this may be a wild concept, but I'm reaching out to see if the possibility is out there. I live in an area where my sub water is fairly low and have 20 acres of land. I want to put in a sandpoint well and use the well to water different paddocks of pasture after livestock has been on it so I can do rotational grazing. I need help figuring out some bullet points to see if it's feasible.
1) If I run 3/4' water line to each paddock and have it connected to 6 sprinklers to water the area, what size of pump would I need? The furthest water line run I would need to do is somewhere around 1000'
2) I plan to run 2" pipe down for the sandpoint, usually my subwater is 3'-4' down, what would be the minimum suggested depth to put the sandpoint?
3) Also, has anyone here ever had experience with powering a pump using windmill generated power? How to store power, what systems were used, etc?
Thanks for anyone's time.
