I need some help figuring out how to plumb this. The 2 inch pipe to the right is for the shower and the hole is going to be 3 inch pipe for a toilet. I will be sistering the joist with the hole in it to repair it. This is a first floor bathroom in a story house above a crawlspace. It's not going to be inspected. Any thoughts?

This is what I ended up doing. Works great. Just had to lower ceiling which was very easy since it was just a powder room.

Yeah. Thats against code. I thought you could use that green glue. I should have used a rubber fitting but it is very solid. It's not going anywhere.
Green glue may have been fine. I don't know. But it looks like the white pipe is cocked into the coupler.

But no-leak is good.
