Hi all, I’m trying to put a raised floor in my basement using 2 x 8 standing on edge riding on top of two by eights on the flat to add an extra inch and a half clearance for plumbing.

I figured out how to run the 3 inch drain pipe without having to drill holes but I’m wondering if the 2 inch tub trap will have clearance?

I guess it’s a simple question. How much clearance do I need under the tub to the concrete slab im building up from.

Also I enjoy reading all your post and threads I look forward to more help.
Thanks in advance
Joe

The 1.5" ABS ground joint p-trap I have at my desk measures 5.5" from its horizontal centerline to the bottom of the trap.
