Hi everyone,

I'm considering upgrading the heating element in my workshop and came across quartz tube heaters. I’ve read they offer efficient and rapid heating, but I'm curious about a few things.

How durable are these quartz tubes compared to traditional metal heating elements? Are there any special maintenance requirements I should be aware of?

how do they perform in terms of energy consumption and heat distribution?

Any insights or personal experiences with quartz tube heaters would be greatly appreciated.

All electric heat is 3.41 btu per watt. It comes in all different forms. Doesn't matter What form if its a toaster, oil heater or anything anybody is selling in resistance heating.
