Clack DLFC Button Size

I just purchased a 2 cu ft softener...12x48 tank with gravel bed and clack WS-1EE valve. On first regen, it spit out quite a bit of resin through the drain. I suspect this is a DLFC button size problem, does anyone know the correct button size for this application?

I don't know the answer to your question. 12x48 is not usually used for 2 cuft of resin. Usually that would be a 12/52 tank.
