I'll give that a try.

The cartridge is working. Someone replaced the parts in front of the cartridge and there seems to be a piece missing. The knob spins all the way around instead of hitting the stop.

Did you figure out what this is? I have what appears to be the exact same valve and need to know what trim will fit it. I also probably will replace the cartridge and need to either clean or purchase a new balance spool.

There is a two piece red and blue plastic piece missing. It is what stops the handles rotation. part # A603570
