Not sure what to do, see picture.

When we bought our house 10 years ago, the boiler/furnace was just put in but the house set empty for 6 months and they didn't tighten the gasket, and there was a small leak, causing rust. We were told that it was just cosmetic but now that we are selling home the buyers are concerned and want to know if any problems in near future. I don't even know who to call, or if it is a problem.

Any help would be great. See picture.

If it's not been leaking since, it's purely cosmetic, but it's doubtful that you'd convince the buyers that it is. You might offer to higher a competent tech to pressure-test the system for leaks, and test the steady state combustion efficiency, documenting both. But anything that ugly is likely to affect the purchase price at least a bit.

D'ya think? ;)

Since they're selling there's no point to doing much more than whatever it takes to make the sale. If it's such a sore point that it's making the house impossible to sell, then it's worth getting into the rest of the discussion.
