Has anyone had their other half’s blonde hair turn green with a water softener installed?

Not quite sure the solution here as we’ve moved into a new property about 3 months ago, but we’re only now noticing the green tint coming through.

Looking for advice or tips instead of getting the system removed as per her hairdressers suggestion.

green tint is usually an indication that copper is corroding. copper corrodes in water with pH below below 7 or low LSI (if pH is above 7) and probably has nothing to do with a water softener
