Bleeding reset does not work

Ran out of oil, refilled tank. pressed reset bleeder. Worked first and second time before realization that the bleeder valve was not opened. On third attempt with valve open, nothing happens. The green light continues to blink but pump motor does not start. help!

Last time I bled my inlaws line I had to hold the reset button for almost a minute to clear the lockout.

You have to hold the reset button down for about a minute now. It's on lock out.
