I am wanting to add a Utility sink in my basement without digging up my basement floor. I have seen a couple of ways to do it using washing machine drain. So I am wondering which is best - connect sink drain to the Washing Machine Stand Pipe or connect the sink drain to the Vent pipe (that the Stand pipe drains into).

Would connect with a Sanitary Tee.
