    Drain arm disconnected

The drain arm is located under the bathtub I can only assume it attached with a nut and washer but a nut and washer is not visible when I look through the drain hole from the bathtub. The only way to access the drain arm is through the drain hole.

    Drain arm disconnected

Hello, when I replacing my drain flange in my bathtub, the drain arm fell off. It was very loose. I managed to connect it again with my fingers through the drain hole. it felt snugged. I tested for leaks and it is a slow leak. I think it is made of brass. What should I use to seal this drain...

How to run drain for double vanity

When I use the first sink, I don't hear any gurgling from the second sink. I only hear the noise from the sink that I am using. If I turn on both faucets at the same time or individually and let the water run down the sink hole, then I can hear water drain down the hole very loudly. It sounds...

How to run drain for double vanity

How to run drain for double vanity

Hello, I am opening a new thread because I decided to start over. I am trying to run a drain for a double vanity in my bathroom. There isn't much space because of the drawers. I believe there is an 8 inch gap between the top and bottom drawers. The stub out from the wall sits right in the...

Is this wrong or right way to run a drain?

I talked to my plumber. He said he can do it without resizing my drawers for $425. Is that too high? I would guess not since it is extensive and custom. It is not any normal drain configuration.

Is this wrong or right way to run a drain?

Thanks for the reply. If I move the central tee off center, then the horizontal waste arm connecting to the right sink would be more than 18 inches from trap. I found a video on Youtube by This Old House. The show installs a double vanity on a single drain. It looks like they use a Y adapter...

Is this wrong or right way to run a drain?

The 45 degree elbow off the wall is not angled enough. Can I use a 60 degree elbow off the wall instead?

Is this wrong or right way to run a drain?

Sorry, I meant 1 1/2 diameter inside. I rather do the second option if possible because then I do not have resize my drawers. Can I use kitchen slip joints on a bathroom sink? I found everything using slip joints but the end of the horizontal tailpiece has a nut on it. It is used for kitchen...

Is this wrong or right way to run a drain?

The PVC from the wall is 2 inches in diameter. According to Summerville-home-inspector website, that the horizontal tailpiece cannot exceed 30 inches. I am not sure how creditable that source is but it might lead me in the right direction. Does anybody else have any advice or information...

It is 30 inches from the left sink tailpiece to the right sink tailpiece. Do I need an extension for the horizontal tail piece?

Is this wrong or right way to run a drain?

Hello, I installed a double sink vanity in my bathroom, but the drain pipe is in the middle. Over the weekend I ran the PVC pipe. I inserted an image of the drain. Can I use a P-trap on both sinks like this? What should I correct? How do I fix this? Thanks!
