    so looks like the "stub out" is actually an elbow end and not a pipe. I need to get to flange in.. as closet to the wall as possible to avoid having to bring out the back area of the toilet wall (in image). is there a Male flange or some something would go into the elbow instead of having to...

    right now I have a shower drain that vents to the roof then drains via the toilet drain pipe.     actual I think I found a way of tying into my shower without the horizontal vent situation. . I found this diagram in another forum. would this work for venting the toilet and the shower? should I make the vent 3" and the line between the toilet and the tub 3" as well?

    I have my shower draining the opposite way of where I have an existing vent unfortunately. I came across this image venting the shower drain with almost a double back to the vent stack. Would this work?
