    Wall Elbow for Shower

1/2" copper cup x 1/2" MPT adapter. The MPT is what I'm trying to catch with the elbow. The other side is welded in.

    Wall Elbow for Shower

I realize that now. But I'd rather not demo tile, thineset, and kerdiboard to cut out and re-sweat pipe and re-tile. Do you see an issue with installing elbow without the gasket and putting clear silicone around the elbow to seal (basically serving the same function as the absent gasket)?

    Wall Elbow for Shower

Shower renovation - trying to install the Delta wall elbow (Model #50570) for a handheld shower wand. The male connection was supposed to be 1/16" to 3/16" past finished wall. It's not. It's barely sub flush with wall. I can't catch any threads when I try to screw on elbow with the black...

I was able get the channel locks around the inside and outside of one flat and nudge it loose.

Delta R11000 Diverter Valve Bonnet Nut Removal

Thanks for the replies Reach4 and standardac. I'll look into both. The jaw oil filter could be an option if they make one small enough to fit this nut. The dremel notch idea seems like a good idea and I have those tools on hand. Either way, this just seems like a bad design by Delta to have...

Delta R11000 Diverter Valve Bonnet Nut Removal

I found the size of the nut on a Delta support discussion about this issue. It's 1.86", for which a 1-7/8" tool or socket could maybe work? They suggest using a strap wrench, but I don't think I have enough material for the strap wrench to grab on to.

Delta R11000 Diverter Valve Bonnet Nut Removal

At trim out stage for shower and the Delta diverter valve (R11000 3/6 diverter) bonnet nut is sub-flush with the tile wall. This is how Delta installation instructions said to do it and their support maintains it should be done. How are you supposed to get the bonnet nut off when it's recessed...

    Glass door installation issue

Almost finished a bathroom remodel. Tile in shower is completely installed. Glass door installer came to take final measurements for the shower door and told me that he can't install the door on the tile as is because the surface of the accent tile is raised above the surface of the shower...

    Seal on Sink Drain Flange

I'm installing a new pedestal sink in a bathroom. I installed all of the handles, spout and drain parts. I put silicone on the underside of the drain flange and tightened it down , but no silicone squeezed out after it was tight. Is that a problem? Do I need to re-do it? If it needs to be...

    Really old closet flange

I was able to install the toilet this weekend on the existing flange. Slots held the bolts. Seems to be working fine so far. Thanks for the help.

    Really old closet flange

Almost finished a complete bathroom remodel. Tile floor already installed and painting complete. Going to install toilet and realize this is the flange I have to work with (see pictures). Looks as if bolt slots are in tact, but I haven't seen a flange like this anywhere in pictures and videos...
