I'm installing a new pedestal sink in a bathroom. I installed all of the handles, spout and drain parts. I put silicone on the underside of the drain flange and tightened it down , but no silicone squeezed out after it was tight. Is that a problem? Do I need to re-do it? If it needs to be re-done, how would I go about that?

If it holds water, you're good. Using Silicone could make it hard to remove in the future, though normally the only time you would remove it is to, well, never really.
