Seemingly stupid problem but quite frustrating if i want to set a recirculating schedule. When i set time and date in settings - then return to it it's always back to initial 2000-00-00. I did a factory reset and went through initial setup again but no avail, time and date wont stick. Anyone experience this?

Talk to Navien, it should work. Unit should be under warranty, so if it is defective, look up NSS for factory covered service.
I've seen a few and heard about "bad motherboard so, replace" as solution to a few problems. Unfortunately, Navien only reimburses $75 for the swap out so I am not signed up to be a Navien Service Specialist but those people must go out if less than one year old.
