I just installed a new Ultramax and I noticed that it has two thin Velcro strips along the back (bottom) edge of the tank lid. See attached photos. What is the purpose of this velcro? It prevents the lid from sitting flush. I was about to remove it, but thought I would see if there is any reason for it. Any idea?

Even though the lid has dents to center the lid over the tank, the velcro is added insurance from someone knocking the lid off.
