I want to move my toilet to the opposite wall less than 2.5 feet from where the drain is now to where the new one would have to be and about 10 inches to the left of where it is now.Would I need a new vent? And how much slope.

The vent for the toilet can be within six feet.
Grade is 2% or 1/4" per foot.
Moving a toilet is one of the more diffiicult remodel projects. The OD on a 3" line is 3.375"
If you go though floor joists, you can only take a third out, and you need to leave 2" on the bottom and 2" on the top.

Thanks Terry, I'm not sure about the joists yet as I had just decided tonight and found your site when I went to look for an answer. Great site by the way! I'll check on the joists tomorrow. Thanks again.
