Hey,
Can anyone recommend a good forum for the repair above? Utube is all over the map and I haven't found a good forum at the library.
Thanks in advance.

Folks,
Thanks for the responses.
The fridge is about 5 years old. It's a side-by-side, with the freezer on the left.
The icecube tray has a sensor (poorly) attached to the bottom of the tray. I am guessing that the senser is some sort of temp sensor.
The sensor is held in place by 2 molded loops on the bottom of the cube tray. One of those loops failed. The sensor is dangling, but the system is still making ice cubes.
I have the skills and tools to swap out the icecube tray.
I am trying to find a schematic and tutorial to make the swap out as smooth as possible.
Thanks again,
Rog

The ice maker is normally going to be somehow controlled by how full the ice bin is, rather than a temperature setting.

Thanks guys!
The PartSelect website had the schematic I needed. A Utube search using the Model # got me to a good tutorial.
I just ordered the part. I will report back after the install.
Thanks Again!
