Hello,

Great forum. I purchased a home with a well and septic and would like to add a water softener. The house has 3 ½ baths and we are a family of 3, the well puts out around 11 gpm 1” feed from pressure tank.

Water info
  • Calcium = 30.7 mg/L
  • Hardness = 14.1 gpg
  • Iron = 0.03 mg/L
  • TDS = 440 mg/L
  • PH = 8.4
  • Magnesium = 40.1 mg/L
  • Sodium = 52.mg/L
  • Sulfur = 5.6 mg/L
I was thinking I need a 1.5 or 2.0 cubic ft softener and would like a Fleck 5810.
I will do the install and would like to know if someone can recommend a retailer ( I am in Michigan).

Thanks,
Mike
