1913 built home, an addition was built in 1960 serving a kitchen, full bath and half bath. Was the waste pipe incorrectly sloped causing the clog? It doesn't clog in the pipe in the workshop, but clogs in the main line to the street which is about 25 from this location. I'm thinking that waste builds up in this section of pipe, and after awhile and pushes the mass to settle in the main line. Energy efficient toilets were installed 5 years ago. Should I replace pipe with PVC and correct slope?

I don't think moving that pipe will help you. It sounds like the underground pipe either has a belly or is sloped too shallow.
