I just installed a new deeper sink with disposal. The top of the P-trap lines up with the center of the disposal output. I'm wondering if this is acceptable and if so how I can make it work.

I read a bunch of threads here and learned a lot but not sure what my best option is. I heard suggestions to use a Lo Inlet J-Bend but have not found one in plastic. Can I should I grab one in metal one? Also wondering if P-trap with reversible J-bend might work. I staged this, see pic.

Can the J bend in a p-trap be installed "backwards"??? J-Bend Lo Inlet

If legit, what would I use to complete the connection?

This?

I have 3 wall drains in this cabinet, far left on is used for dishwasher. If plan A is not option I've considered capping the far right drain and running disposer on right to the far left drain which is lower.

Disposal outlet is ~6.5 inches from top, not sure how much I can gain by buying a more compact disposal. Hoping not to have to lower the wall drain

From what I have read, that is fine.

Your bottom two pictures look like they are almost there.

Maybe a tailpiece extension cut to size, and cut the curved discharge tube some, I am thinking.

Can you rotate the trap input to be right under the curved discharge tube output? If you already cut that reversible trap too short, get a new one.

Thanks for quick reply. Yes I can rotate the J bend, left it offset so it did not look like it was connected. I did not cut it.
Yep was thinking I'd cut the output tube from disposal as well as one of these.

One of those. Play around with it, and find the best way.

You want the inside bottom of the output pipe to be between 2 and 4 inches higher than the inside top of the bend. That distance is your "water seal".
