Tekmar 256 and Honeywell L8148A

I want to add a Tekmar 256 to my Crown Boiler, currently controlled by a Honeywell L8148A Aquastat but am having trouble understanding how the outdoor control is wired in to the L8148A. Does the Tekmar go in series with the L8148A High Limit Control?
