My Slant Fin CHS-155 that I installed in 2016 has started to fail igniting intermittently. It has been working very reliably until now, with annual tune-ups.
After talking to my local heating guy and looking at the manual, it was suggested to replace the following two parts:
1. P/N 8180333 Ignition Electrode, Dual w/gasket
2. P/N 8180740 Flame Rod (Includes P/N 82774)
At this website https://www.industrialstores.com I was able to find "P/N 8180740 Flame Rod" but the website says that "P/N 8180333 Ignition Electrode" was discontinued by Slant Fin and was replaced by "NTI Boiler 83870-1 Dual Ignition Electrode".
Since Slant Fin is out business, could anyone confirm that the validity of the replacement electrode?
Thanks in advance,
