I have a shower with seperate controls. One turns on and adjust the water.
The second is a faucet with a knob on front that you pull out to switch to shower use or leave in to fill the tub. The knob is popping out on it's own.
I try to fill the tub and after a few seconds, the shower comes on. Do I need to replace this unit or is there something inside that needs adjusting?

I'm not sure you can repair that diverter. Might be best to just replace it.
