Sewer location map

I'm trying to locate the sewer line coming out of my house. I pulled the township sewer map and my sewer line is labeled 3+84. What does that number represent?

It means your connection to the MAIN LINE is 384 feet from the manhole, but that has absolutely nothing to do with where it leaves the building.

Are you on a slab, do you have a crawl space or a basement?

If you are on a slab, the shortest way is to get a pipe locator plumber to determine it for you.
His instruments will show the location +/- a few inches.
