Turned on outside faucet today and the screw holding on the Handle was missing and when i turned, water shot out of some kind of relief hole that is normally not visible, but when you open water, you can get to it. Is there supposed to be another screw in here? I found the handle screw in front of the faucet, but I can’t find anything that goes in this hole.

Try tightening the packing nut while the main is shut off ( where the handle goes into the body).

That is what fell out and I screwed back in. The handle is secured but that hole still release water when the faucet is turned on. Any other ideas?

You can buy repair kits for frost free spigots. You just need the name brand.

I don’t think those kits do anything for this hole. I’ve tried another picture. When water is off it’s at about the 3 o’clock position. I’m running to HD and Lowe’s. Not sure which place I bought this from when I replaced it. It’s American brand.

I wouldn't bother with repair kits, just get a new hose bib.

Maybe there is a hole somewhere, the hose bib or the garden hose. I can't see from a small picture. A physical inspection is needed.
