Hello. I have a mastercool roof mount side draft that I installed approx 10-12 years ago. We put the house up for sale and in the process of getting the house ready I replaced the motor, tstat and control box. Long story short, we ended up keeping the house as a rental. The unit has worked fine for the last 15 months, but recently started having problems. The renter has reported that the cooler will sometimes smell like rubber, that it pops the breaker frequently, and that the unit will turn on by itself. I'm pretty baffled by the desription of the problem. Any suggestions? Time for another motor?
